People are generally considered the biggest evolutionary mistake ever. So far, they've managed to destroy at least species, endanger tons more, pollute our atmosphere, and even make a hole in the ozone that's currently frying the south pole and causing global warming, which in turn causes a higher frequency of hurricanes.
