Fake $revenue are an adware group that is impersonating $revenue. They were discovered by Paperghost and reported on his website.
They operate under the domains doiiarrevenue.com and promo.doiiarrevenue.com, however they don't have some of the things unique to $revenue, such as ARROWZ.
Aside from ARROWZ, Fake $revenue mimics everything about $revenue, including domains and filenames. However, filenames like "drsmartload154a.exe" end up being mutated into "drrrr.exe".
Fake $revenue is a problem for both $revenue and Web users. The question is, will $revenue be able to do anything about it?
