Kommander Kickass
Kommander Kickass (real name Charles Bumpass) is the leader of the group Intergalactic Troubleshooters ("It") and a lead character in the Intergalactic Troubleshooters series.
Background
Charlie Bumpass grew up in a middle-class home. He idolized action movie heroes and videogame heroes such as Duke Nukem and hoped, one day, to be like that. In the 11th grade he adopted the name "Kommander Kickass" because he imagined himself commanding and kicking ass.
Kommander Kickass, the Komic Kharacter
Kommander Kickass was also the star character of a series of comics Charles Bumpass drew that same year. However, the appearance of the comic character bears no resemblance to the appearance of present-day Kommander Kickass.

Personality
Kickass is very hyper-active. He is a personification of the macho-man stereotype. He is always seen drinking Brawndo the Thirst Mutilator, which may contribute to his hyper-activity.
Nicknames
Kickass is often addressed as Captain, either by mistake or intentionally. This is a pet peeve for him, as he emphasizes the "Kommander" (note spelling) in his name.
After learning that his true name is Charles Bumpass, some of his team take to calling him Bump-Ass or Bumpy.
