Binaryman (real name Kevin Alsner) is a member of the Intergalactic Troubleshooters ("It") and a lead character in the Intergalactic Troubleshooters series.
Background
A self-professed nerd, Kevin Alsner graduated at the top of his class. No one doubted that Kevin was smart, but many found him strange due to his habit of wearing a binary-pattern cape to school every once in a while. He developed the alter-ego of Binaryman based on this habit.
Binaryman joined the It because he wanted to be a bona fide superhero. Despite wearing a cape, Binaryman has no super powers. His intelligence, however, has come in handy for the It numerous times.

Binaryman is obviously the most eccentric of the It. Despite his habit of wearing his cape, he has other strange habits too, like the inexplicable need to pace around, rock in his chair, and brandish his calculator like a sword. He often uses strange battle cries like "POLYNOMIALS... ATTACK!".
