Intergalactic Troubleshooters focuses on the adventures of a group called the Intergalactic Troubleshooters (or "the It"), who advertise themselves as "being able to take any job at any time." The members of the It are highly exaggerated caricatures (who often seem to be "playing hero" more often than actually being heroes), which contrast with the serious nature of the rest of the cast.

Of the It

The Intergalactic Troubleshooters (the It) are a ragtag group of people established in Gamma City, Aaag, Earth, in 2006 who can do "any job at any time". Although at first they do small jobs, their renown spreads throughout the nation and, eventually, the planet. In the series, they find themselves being employed by the most powerful clients in the galaxy. Each member of the It is an exaggerated caricature of some sort.

Great Lords

The Great Lords are the primary employers of the It. Each Lord uses the It to try to weaken the other Lords. Naturally, the It benefit very well. In contrast to the It, the Lords seem to take their positions as rulers of the galaxy fairly seriously.

Note that Planet Earth is not within any of these Lords' domains. It is independent of all of them. The reason for this can be found many millennia ago, when the Preeminent Wizard who ruled the Earth at the time represented Earth as a "sixth Lord" at the Galactic Summit of Long Ago. Since then, none of the Lords wanted to claim Earth for fear that the rest of them would react. Not having decided how to best divide the Earth, it has been left to its own business.

Actually, the entire solar system is independent.

  • Cobalt Dominus, who rules the space eastward of planet Earth. He is considered a tyrannical, yet fair, ruler. His color is blue. He is bordered by Earth's solar system and Yix to the west and von Krieg to the north and south.
  • "God-Empress" Kayllera, who rules the space southwestward of Yix's domain. She is a powerful, yet brutal ruler who inspires fear in her subjects. She is probably one of the most wicked Lords, who is almost universally despised outside (and sometimes inside) her domain, although she has a weak alliance with von Krieg. As a result, her troops are some of the most warlike. Her color is black. She is bordered by Netton to the west, Yix to the east, and von Krieg to the south.
  • Lord Netton, who rules the space northwestward of Kayllera's domain. He is perhaps the most compassionate of the Lords, which has earned him the title "Gentleman Lord." He is in an alliance with Yix. His color is purple. He is bordered by Yix to the northeast, Kayllera to the southeast, and von Krieg to the north and southwest.
  • Lord Yix, who rules the space between Netton, Kayllera, and Cobalt. Yix, along with Netton, is one of the friendlier Lords. His color is red. He is bordered by Netton to the northwest, Kayllera to the southwest, von Krieg to the north and south, and Cobalt and Earth's solar system to the east.
  • Wolfgang von Krieg rules several pockets of space that surround the other Lords' domains. He is not outright cruel like Kayllera, but he is certainly of the schemer type. The gang lord Molotov has known ties to him. He is probably the most secretive of the Lords, and much about him is unknown. His color is white.

Enemies

Antagonists of the It. For whatever reason, their interests come into conflict with whoever's hiring the It at the time.

  • Molotov, a subject of von Krieg who is one of the leaders of a massive crime organization. He likes to play with fire.

Allies

Characters who aid the It, oftentimes for a cut of the rewards.

Other

Other characters, for example: other, less powerful, employers.

  • The Governmental Warmonger of Aaag, who is the most powerful military leader in the nation. He is probably the closest thing planet Earth has to a single leader.
