The story is supposedly supposed to be about some kid who wakes up and realizes that he's been transformed into a Pokemon so he can save the world from being destroyed by a very unoriginal meteor impact plotline. Contrary to anything the game or it's brainwashed fans may claim, there is absolutely NO reason for the main character to turn into a Pokemon.
