Infinitypedia is another successor.
Gammapedia:Curators
The curators (also known as administrators, sysops, or bureaucrats) are the people who keep Gammapedia running. They oversee the project and have abilities such as the ability to block users, delete pages, protect pages, and the ability to promote other users to curator rank. The new role of curator is roughly equivalent to the combination of roles of sysop and bureaucrat on most other wikis.

Authority of a Curator
Unlike sysops on most wikis, Curators are vested with authority over the project and its users. We never pretend that curatorship is "no big deal". It is on Gammapedia.
What curators are allowed to do
- Overturn decisions and revert edits made by non-curator users
- If a curator thinks another curator made a bad decision, they may overturn/revert it and discuss it on a talk page
- Ban non-curator users from Gammapedia
- Make binding decisions concerning Gammasphere canon
What curators are not allowed to do
- Repeating an action reverted by another curator without discussing it with that curator on his/her talk page or the talk page of the page in question (see wheel war)
- Curators do not own the content of the Gammapedia; they merely manage it
