Captain Pie is the defacto King of the Pirates. Ninjas may be brave warriors, but they are no match for Captain Pie.
Origins of Captain Pie
When the former King of Pirates, Gold Roger, died, Pirates all around the world rushed to the Grand Line get his treasure, One Piece. Monkey D. Luffy actually found One Piece, but Captain Pie purchased it from him for its value in Flamin Hot Cheetos, making Pie the King (and Luffy somewhat rich). Pie and Luffy remain friends to this day.
