Windows 2000 (also known as Windows 2k) is a preemptible and interruptible, graphical, business-oriented operating system that was designed to work with either uniprocessor or symmetric multi-processor (SMP) 32-bit Intel x86 computers. It is part of the Microsoft Windows NT line of operating systems and was released on February 17, 2000.
Features
- It is better than Windows 95.
- It also is better than Windows 98.
- Furthermore, it is better than Windows XP.
- It will probably also be better than Windows Vista, although time will tell.
Why use Windows 2000?
- Costs less than Windows XP
- Has all the (important) features of Windows XP (sans funny themes)
- It has "2000" in it, so it must be good
