Pi is exactly three is a dictum passed by the Gammaspherical Law Body in 2006 following Codon is a three-letter word. It dictates that:

π = 3

Critical response

Nerds

Math nerds opposed Pi is exactly three because:

  • Pi being a rational number meant that chaos or something was going to happen.
  • It rendered World War 3.14 impossible
  • Math nerds like hard to memorize numbers with lots and lots and lots of digits
  • The people employed by universities and such to find the digits of Pi were suddenly out of work and went to some place like Sonic or Mc Donalds to become a cashier.

Everyone Else

Everyone else, however, praised the new law, because it meant less stuff to memorize.
