Herpes Man is a mutated anthropomorphic blood cell and a low-level Legendary Villain. It can make others sick by merely touching them, and can even contaminate water and other important human supplies. Because of this, despite its low fighting ability, Herpes Man is feared almost as much as Maximo himself.
Genesis
Herpes Man was created by Dr. Mister Sr. on one of his mad plots to conquer the Earth. For some reason, the Mad Doctor thought a mutant anthropomorphic blood cell would be an effective instument of planet domination. He was wrong - Herpes Man turned on his creator. It was only by luck that the doctor survived this betrayal.
Life as a Mutant Anthropomorphic Blood Cell
Over the years, as a mutated anthropomorphic blood cell, Herpes Man found that no one liked him, and would run away. He thought he was a monster, resolved to behave as such, and went on a terror spree, poisoning lakes, food supplies, and just plain scaring the people of Gamma City.
Battle with Gammaman!
Of course, no one can get away with such deeds under the watch of the Legendary Heroes! Gammaman and his fellows swooped down onto the scene. Although Gammaman thought dispatching the mutant lifeform would be easy, he was wrong - the Gamma Rays mutated him to a transformation stage: Cancer Man!
Cancer Man
As Cancer Man, his multiplicational abilities grew exponentially. There were soon many, many Cancer Men in the battlefield. Gammaman tried in vain to extinguish these monstrous fiends, and even called in Omegaman for help. The Omega Rays, combined with the Gamma Rays, produced a Death Nuke Beam. The Heroes took a dangerous wager on the entire City, attempted an evacuation, and shot the Beam at the Cancer Men, hoping to destroy them all. Most died off, but a few survived. The surviving creatures assumed his strongest form: Ebola Man.
Ebola Man
Ebola Man had twice the replication power of Cancer Man, and over five times the disease powers of Herpes Man. BladeAlchemist used his... blade alchemy powers, FloppyDiskMan tried to reformat the rogue cells with a 1.44 MB Beam, Gammaman and Omegaman kept shooting their beams at the numerous Ebola Men, but all attempts were fruitless. Suddenly, however, Dr. Mister Jr., son of the Mad Doctor and aide to the Heroes, used his father's experimental vaccine. The vaccine had a limited effect on the Ebola Men, but such an effect allowed the Heroes to gain an advantage.
Outcome
The Heroes defeated most of the mutated demon-cells. It is believed that at least one fled during the battle.
Supposed second sighting
A Herpes Man-like figure was spotted somewhere on the peak of Mount Mountain. Legendary Heroes moved in, but could find no trace of him.
